ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Mark Majewski, Managing Partner and CFO at Kaplan CFO Solutions, will serve as a panelist at the Venture Asheville Innovation Summit on Tuesday, September 1, joining the 1:15 p.m. discussion, Reverse Engineer Your Sale.
The panel will focus on what business owners can do today to better understand and strengthen the value of their companies before a sale is ever on the immediate horizon. Topics will include what buyers evaluate, what drives enterprise value, and how financial, operational and leadership decisions can affect an owner’s options years before a transaction takes place.
Majewski brings more than 30 years of senior executive leadership experience across finance, operations, marketing, supply chain and executive management. His career has included roles as CFO, President and Senior Vice President, giving him a broad operator’s perspective on how value is created across an organization, not simply on a financial statement.
“Business owners do not need to have a sale date circled on the calendar for this conversation to matter,” Majewski said. “The earlier you understand what creates value, where risk exists and what a buyer may eventually scrutinize, the more options you preserve for yourself.”
