We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Plant Manager to lead and oversee the production operations for a dynamic and innovative company. Job Overview

In this critical role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating all manufacturing operations, including fabrication, welding, machining, coating, and packaging departments. Your leadership will ensure that production goals are met efficiently and effectively while maintaining the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production Planning: Develop and prioritize production work based on equipment efficiency and materials availability. Create schedules and staffing plans to meet production goals.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain manufacturing and quality control standards. Ensure that all process sheets are accurate and that manufacturing is performed correctly.
  • Maintenance Oversight: Supervise maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Schedule and oversee machine maintenance to ensure long-term efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Provide hands-on leadership to production teams, fostering a culture of performance, craftsmanship, and quality. Address workforce development and conflict resolution.
  • Operational Efficiency: Coordinate machine scheduling and ensure the availability of necessary tooling and programming. Work closely with supervisors to solve production problems and meet company demands.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage budget controls and plans. Authorize necessary overtime to meet customer deliveries and ensure proper wage rates for work performed.

Credentials

  • Education: A university degree or college diploma in administration, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Experience: At least six years of relevant experience, including supervision. Experience in a company with ISO 9001 or AS9100 certification is preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ability to track expenses and run projections.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $125,000 – $150,000 annually
  • Incentives: Performance-based incentivized compensation
